Crochet Pattern For A Hat In All Sizes

Introducing the Norbert Hat - a delightful creation that found its inspiration as a complementary piece

while I was meticulously documenting my popular Vixen Fox Hat pattern.

In my pursuit of ensuring accuracy in the instructions for various sizes,

I decided to create something a bit different to keep my crochet journey exciting and fresh.

The name 'Norbert' was chosen in tribute to the charming Berry Stitches featured in the design, which,

to me, resemble tiny glass orbs, adding an element of wonder to this delightful hat.

This pattern is thoughtfully crafted in US crochet terms and offers a variety of sizes, making it versatile enough to fit everyone comfortably.

The beginning chain (Beg CH1) doesn't count as a stitch unless otherwise specified.

Throughout the pattern, when transitioning between colors,

we recommend using a method that allows you to complete the last part of a stitch with the new color before making the change.

To maintain a tidy finish and minimize future weaving,

our preferred method involves working over the starting and finishing ends for approximately 5-6 stitches before cutting.

For your convenience, a printable version of the pattern is included, making it a handy reference for your creative journey.

In creating this hat, we used two strands of the same yarn held together, a personal preference that enhances the cozy appeal of the Norbert Hat.

However, please feel free to select your preferred yarn, as long as it's suitable for a 5mm hook, ensuring that all sizes align with the pattern.
